We understand this is not an
everyday purchase for you so here are some most frequently asked questions:
Question: What can I expect to spend on my wedding flowers?
Answer: A general rule
of thumb for an average investment in your wedding flowers would be
between 10% and 15% of your total wedding budget. This does not include
sales tax, delivery and setup. Average total wedding budgets are $20,000
to $30,000 so you can figure accordingly.
Question: Do you have a minimum?
Answer: Yes we have
a $1500 minimum. This usually does not present an issue when you take
into consideration an average bridal party, other personals, and arrangements
for the ceremony.
Question: Will you use seasonal flowers to maximize my budget?
Answer:
Absolutely! It is our job to suggest flowers that will result in the
look and feel you want while keeping you within your budget. It is worth
saying that most farms are in other countries so it's not uncommon
for items to be shipped from South America, California, Holland, Thailand,
and now even Japan.
Question: Will you use local materials?
Answer: Definitely,
when possible! Local product is the best you can get but local seasons
are shorter so there's a more limited window of opportunity to use
them.
Question: Will you do more than one event a day?
Answer:
Yes we will but we do take careful consideration as not to overbook.
Not being a retail flower shop allows us not to have the everyday responsibilities
of running a storefront. We plan months in advance to ensure adequate
staffing. Our reputation relies on the work we do and that includes
personal service and on time deliveries.
Question: How do I secure your services?
Answer: There is a 20%
non refundable deposit due at time of signing the contract.
Question: What is the term you use "Bouquet Fitting"?
Answer: This is a very unique service that's offered to our clients. A bride will schedule an appointment usually 6-8 weeks before the wedding to come in and hold the bridal bouquet as we have described and discussed. This gives our brides the opportunity to be more involved in the creation of their bouquet by giving input on what, if anything, they would like changed. This ensures that it's perfect when presented to them on the day of their wedding.
